Talk about a blast to the past. Through sheer luck, I found CatBones on Deviant Art. He was one of the most amazing VGA artists from way, way, way back in the day when Ansi, Ascii, RIP and VGA art were big, and people released their art on the internet with various world-wide art groups.

For those of you that frequented dialup BBS's in the early and mid 90s, you may know what I'm referring to. If not, you don't know what you missed. These were some of the most fun years of my teenage life. Not only did I meet a bunch of brilliantly talented individuals, my own creativity blossomed because I, too, created hundreds of ANSI logos. It was my biggest hobby.

Anyway, finding CatBones made me think back on all the good times, the people I knew, and made me remember how much I missed drawing. I dug up a bunch of my more recent work (released with a group called Revival in 2002, a few years after the ANSI/ASCII heyday) and decided I would post them on my own profile here at Deviant Art.

For anyone who remembers this art scene, they may know me as Tsk (The Silent Killer). I ran a popular art BBS called The Gas Chamber for a few years. And I was in more art groups than I can remember - some of the more well-known ones being ACiD and Odium.

Feel free to browse my more recent logos, as well as the only ANSI picture I remember ever releasing. Let me know what you think!

Good times...

-Ryan (Tsk)
